Whistle Stop Cafe in Juliette, Georgia for last Thursday's lunch. Fried chicken livers, butter peas, mixed greens and cornbread (with no sugar added.) The waitress asked me, "Honey, would you like something to dip those chicken livers in?" "What do people around here usually dip them in?" "Oh... Either hot sauce or white gravy." "White gravy please mam." That was some fine eatin' A must stop for lunch if I'm in the area.

I don't know about KFC livers I have asked and they say no. Last time I ate some there there was a feather on one of them. The owners of S&CB are retiring so maybe somebody will keep it open. Thier livers are like Greenbrier hushpuppys. You compare everybody else's to them. Used to be you could get fairly good ones at gas stations. I don't see them like I used too.
