Maybe a dumb question. If he stole the cam, how do you have a pic? Cell cam No Service....

Who the heck would put out a $400 camera on public land? Without at least getting a lock box. That asking for it there. How bout you read the comments private property inside of Bankhead. I know this is tough for some people so I'll add it to the header.

Even so, he took the thing somewhere when he stole it, probably to an area with service. I doubt someone would put out a cellular game camera on property with zero bars.

There is tons of locations that gets good cell service in Bankhead. Probably 90% of the national forest has service. Black Warrior WMA is spotty on cell coverage. I bet that guy is a local that lives close by, but I cannot ID him.
It is hard to kill or catch anything sitting on the couch!

Yes had good cell service. Shotts I am going to take it to Wiggins I bet the guy has stopped in there a time or two nothing else really around.

Either way, if it is public land or a small 80 acres surrounded by public land or just plain private land, if your gonna invest in an expensive camera wouldn’t it be smart and spend a few more bucks on a cable, lock, and lockbox? Hate you had your cam stolen, but times we live in now you got to protect your stuff.
