At my public land spot in northwest AL. Finally made it back home for my (somewhat) annual turkey tour. Be here till Sunday. Then on to MS till Friday when I catch a plane back to SD. Then it’s chasin turkeys in the snow till the end of May. Birds have been pretty quiet the past few days, maybe that will change today.

Good luck guys!! I have to go do a firearms qualification this morning and then we are going to hit the road and head to the camp. I hope this strong wind and clouds don't follow us over there. I'm ready to get in the turkey woods.

Didn't hear anything at my first spot. Started prospecting and heard one gobble way off. Made a long walk and still couldn't get to him so I circle around on the cart but by the time I got to the area he was in he'd already shut down.

Killed a good 3+ year old bird I’ve been after on the WMA. I had my dad with me and set up for him to kill him but the turkey decided to loop around.Got to share a kill with my dad and daughter “her first” in the last 5 days. Been blessed
