Unless he's having to haul in dirt, i'm telling you that's high as hell. I had an excavator push down 100 tree's and a dozer make a 100 yard driveway and level a 1/4 acre lot for $4000. So unless its going to take 47 hours to complete, your paying too much. 47x$110=$5170.

I always plan on about $1k per day. As far as how long your particular job will take, no idea. That's the way I plan it, and after twenty years of using dozers I am pretty good at knowing how long it takes to do things. And I always personally supervise and direct everything.

Does he have a backhoe/excavator? I ask because, I too think that’s high, and was wondering if he is having to farm that part out, or rent one.

A trackhoe might be a better choice. I paid 125 per hour for some work a few years ago. Trees or buildings don't stand a chance. Plus hole digging is quick and pinpoint
Two roads diverged in the woods and I took the one with deep ruts, hills and mud.It may be bumpy but WHAT A RIDE!

I am no dozer pro but have had some work around the farm done and that seems really high.Pushing over a tree/two bushes, digging a hole and pushing a burnt house in it just should not take that many hours, dang sure no more than 4 hours and that is generous. So $400-$600.No clue how long a trailer pad would take.Your guy would not be working for me. 4 hours really? You don’t even know how big the building is or what the foundation is?

Sounds about 1,000 to 2,000 too high to me , unless he's hauling in some chert of something for the pad.

Must be location, taking out 3 trees (dead pine and 2 bradford pears) , building a pad for a singlewide and burying what's left of a burned house won't cost nowhere near that in Jackson Co.
