I think AC's new nickname should be "Seymour Butts." HA! I wonder how deep the understanding of that runs in the membership on here
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

It sure seemed odd waking up this morning and being able to see around the room. Here’s something funny. I was bad nearsighted. So I’d wear my glasses for everything else. Take them off when reading on my phone like now. Now it’s just the opposite. Walking around no glasses. But I need the readers for the phone. Perzactly opposite.

I don't even need glasses now. Bought a good pair right after I had mine done. I've not wore them but maybe twice. Do the walls look brighter? I was amazed at how bright colors were. I see far with my right eye and read with my left. Had to go get them to zap it again after about two years so I could see again but that took like 30 seconds.

Guys I got up this morning just walking around looking at stuff. I knew my eye had gotten bad but had no idea just how bad. It was like looking through a brand new eye. Read 20/30 on eye chart and that’s about as good as it get for me. Pressure was a smidge high and he wants to recheck it this weekend. I just hope everything holds together for me. Retina problem in right eye happened 6 years ago after cataract surgery in that eye. A few continued prayers that it holds up would be appreciated. Now for the hard part. At least for next few weeks.... I’m wide open. Middle of the road. All the time. When I woke up seeing better than I’ve seen in years. I told the wife, “I’m shooting my recurve this afternoon. I hadn’t been able to see well enough to shoot it in months.”
Nope, eye doc said. No shooting, pistols or long guns. No weight lifting. No grass cutting. No archery. I got to “take it essy” while eye heals. I can walk. That’s it He don’t even want me on the recumbent bike. Nothing strenuous. Driving home, wife said “Don’t even think of taking the boat out.” It’s not strenuous, I said. Launching and loading are, she said. Taking it easy may turn out to be hardest part.
