I'll help him out by telling him not to waste his time in Baldwin Co or Mobile Co. You want to hunt turkeys, drive North, West, or East.
Turkeys be damned.

I will tell you why....because someone will tell him, then he brings his buddies then they bring their buddies. Then one gets real lucky and kills one, then they post it on social media then the whole crowd shows up. Get your butt out there and look. If you really want to learn, go read and explore. Then after you did all that hard work and get one...you will be like the rest of us..... We aint sayin sheeeet. Or you can just tell him like Pappy always did.
Quack quack.

Dang the butthurt got strong quick!
The best advice I have is to wake up early for the next week and go listen. They will tell you where they are at, find a few and try to find them again on opening morning. That is what the rest of us are doing right now. You are asking another man to do the foot work and put you in the birds he found.
The only turkeys a man will give you, is one that has whipped him beat him down and he can't do nothing with, hoping you will kill it and put him out of his misery!
Good luck, hope you find and kill a few!

Hell, I just gave him a broad area. Conecuh is pretty big.
Me and jsh1904 will be hunting it this year. Haven't chased Turkeys on Blue Spring in quite a few years, but used to know a few good spots.
Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

I’m sorry buddy, but turkey hunters don’t give out locations over the Internet. Get a map for a wma close to you. Identify some areas from satellite imagery and topo maps that should hold birds. Get up early for the next few days and go listen for gobbles and then scout and look for turkey sign. No true turkey hunter is going to tell you where to go on the Internet.
This^^ Put in your time and go. My first public land hunt was based on looking at maps and just going. As you hunt, you will make friends in areas and y'all will help each other. The state puts out statistics to point you to areas with higher kill rates. Alabama Game and Fish magazine has articles on areas. Good luck [

Maybe you will get lucky and find one of those trapped birds they release. Cause people kill those turkeys all the time not just in turkey season if they are easily accessible. Public hunting areas are not a private tract you can raise birds and just step out their and shoot one anytime like some private tracts. You may put in weeks and never see a bird to shoot. Just so you know if no one has told you. Now I’m totally confused

Public land hunting? Just dive right on in why don't ya. If you have some buddies who have access to private land, I would try that first. If public land is the only option know this...You can have them figured out (scouted, know where they roost, know which direction he likes to go, know what tree you will sit at,) and then some jack leg that thinks he is Eddie Salter himself will come slam his door and walk through the woods and run em off.
Look up some of the public lands on outdooralabama. Pick one and just go.

Public land park where everyone else is parking when they come out with no bird you go in. Then beat them there the next day. If you hunt public land a lot you learn to get creative and avoid these people 😀

To start off with like I said I wasn't asking one of you jackass's to put me on one of your birds, like they belong to you or something, they don't.And some of us ain't got thousands of dollars a year to spend on hunting a bird on private property. It would be cheaper to just go to Winn-Dixie and buy a turkey suckers. And I'm not one of those little youngins that you can tell this or that,I'm just saying where's the comroddery between hunters now a days.I don't expect anything from you guys that's for sure ,was just wondering what was still under water, and if anyone has ever even killed a bird at the other locations around Mobile. But hey kiss my yass, yass, yass. And for the guy that said praying won't get you no where God's a turkey hunter, you need to go to church a pray ,cause trust me it works with everything in life .And I thought that's what this very sight was for,to get info from other hunters, and some help if you need it,but I guess I was wrong, but thanks to the couple of guys that threw in the little help they could thanks and God bless
