Sweet ride. Tell us the details Not mich to tell, fellers son worked at high country toyota in scottsborro where he met somebody who bought this truck new there and bought it a little over a year ago, he joined the navy and the truck was sitting in the way at his momma and daddys house. It had been on facebook marketplace for sale for awhile and id seen it, but their pictures of it were awful and made it look bad..soo i never fooled with it..saw it had reposted again and i thought what the heck...its alot cheaper than im lookin to spend so ill check it out...truck turned out to be very nice with a life long history of high country toyota dealership service records, a fairly fresh timing belt also done by high country, brand new tires and a fresh oil change. Everything works and the truck runs like new with a color matched leer camper shell that has hardwired led lights in it. Its by far the nicest truck ive ever owned, im thankful to the good lord he let me find it cause i aint ever had a nice truck. That's a good story. I'm glad you got a nice truck.

I got that same motor in my truck it's a good one make sure you change out the timing belt and water pump every 100k itll last 300k miles. I dont know why Toyota didnt put a chain on those motors but if your mechanically inclined it's about a half a day job in the driveway OEM parts from rockauto costs about $200 I will never own a vehicle with a timing belt. That is a deal breaker. Nice truck though!
