I’m sure this has been covered at some point but I haven’t found the magic combination to find it on here. But do y’all have any recommendations for snake boots for big calves? I tried on a few a bass pro trying to find some that would work but got frustrated after about 4 pairs and no luck and left.

Irish Setter snake boots are lace up so they should work for you.

I saw a fella getting measured for some Russell boots today and was impressed. Those fellas measured this guys foot and leg for like 5 mins, no doubt why they cost the$.

they are heavy, they leak some, but no snake is going to bite thru them. They were a gift from a now gone friend right after I got bit by a five foot ratter in 1985. Right after I got them I stomped a three foot cottonmouth to test em.

Danner Sharptails will fit big calves. I have a pair of Gokey's and was given a pair of Sharptails. Both are good boots. If I'd had the Danners first, he don't know that I would have bought the Gokey's.

I’m all for quality, and I’ll pay for it, but I doubt they’re worth that. Not to me at least.

It's close $200 for 10 years use...

they were a gift to me so there's that...

I think they were around $400 in 1985 when I got them.
