I've asked question about this sort of thing a time or two, but I'm looking for someone that can build/install a "bar" type area kind of like the picture attached. I'm going to be calling around getting some quotes in the next few days, but you guys always seem to have good suggestions. This was the first picture I could find, it's not exactly what I need, but helps show it somewhat. This is going in a youth space at church and will be used for serving pizza and coke (not booze grin). What you got?

Hmmm that's our specialty, we haven't done work in Birmingham in a while though. What's your budget? It can get expensive .

Yep, those shelves should have bottles with brown liquid in them. ๐Ÿ˜€

Do you want a sink like in the picture? Electrical outlets (which may be required by code)? You may need more than just a cabinets guy, you need a remodeling contractor. There is a home builders and remodelers show at the Finley center in Hoover this weekend. May be worth your time to make a few sketches and talk to some people at the show.

I can get it done depending on ya budget....

Check out rtacabinetstore.com. 100% real wood, they come pre drilled they are easy to assemble. I just did my whole kitchen for 1/2 of what particle board cabinets were running everywhere else.

The outlets and plumbing for the sink are already in place. I came into a weird situation where they "renovated" the church in the middle of looking for a new youth pastor. I got hired, and they didn't completely finish the youth area so that I could have some input. The problem is, they closed out the renovation and this specific thing never got done. So the outlets are there, the plumbing is there, honestly they may already have the sink rofl

Somehow it got put on me to get it done, so I'm finding someone and getting it done. I may end up going back to finding some pre-fabbed stuff at home depot and putting it in myself (with the help of some older guys at church) but this project has turned into hot potato getting passed from person to person and I have bigger fish to fry.

Thanks for the input. James, what would you estimate something like that would cost for just a super basic cabinet/bar top, nothing fancy or flashy.

Check with Teeter cabinets. Randy does great work from what I've seen and has stayed busy the past 20 years that I've lived by his shop. Good guy and very knowledgeable as we used to hunt together in the same club for about 5 years and needed his help several times.Heck if you happen to visit his buusness let me know as I'm a few hundred yards down the street and I'll throw some burgers on the grill and we'll sit a spell. Like James said, budget is everything as it can go as deep as your pockets will allow
