Yes. You should serpentine walk in to your deer stand. How can I walk and serpentine at the same time? Only Bluetic knows that but he got gone a couple of years ago.

Nevermind the serpentine walk. That move is for rookies. A real hunter knows that if he walks backwards to his stand, the smart mature bucks will see his tracks and think the hunter has already left the area. The buck will let his guard down and you can sneak right up on him and Judy chop him right behind the ears and boom, dirt nap right there. ^ this. Also, when leaving your stand climb down the tree head first. This way any deer still in the area think you’re a squirrel or coon and won’t spook.
