Sent. There is a terrible stomach bug cycling around right now. Hope that's all it is. Oh how I wish that was it. This started on Dec 27th right after the bypass surgery. Actually it started here and there a month or so before surgery but has been a multiple times a day issue since the surgery. Echo, ultrasound and xrays this morning will hopefully shed some light.

Full team of specialists assembled. Cardiac, Pulmonary, GI, Diabetes Care, Neurology. Had a big meeting which included me because they now realize they discharged her too early.
Fluid on lungs and liver being treated first. Has had 2 heart echoes, abdominal ultrasound, GI consult and Diabetes care coordinator to help keep levels consistent since 9pm last night. Supposed to meet with various doctors individually this afternoon.

Meds not working as fast as they want, so she had two chest tubes this morning, PICC line, heart cath this morning. Moved her back to CICU for 24-48 hours. Hopefully she can get some real relief with all the fluids drawn off. CV heart surgery team has done deeper analysis and are looking at some other heart issues that may be causing all the nausea and vomiting. GI team kind of on hold for now.
So back in CICU. Going back to CICU is a step back...but... necessary step to move forward.
