Whether its rut time or not, they do tend to move well when it's a full moon and cold. Sucks I'm at work...

The timing of the rut is based on genetics. It has almost nothing to do with how cold it is or the moon. You sure about that? I’m positive it’s photo period (amount of daylight) that determines the rut.

Photoperiodism is the deers ‘calendar’.
The date of the estrous period on that calendar is determined by genetics.

I think environmental factors such as temperature, etc affect how much visible rut activity occurs.
"Cull" is just another four letter word...
