Just curious how everyone’s season shaping up as far as deer sightings ompared to previous years. Sure is much more quiet in the serious forum than normal

Sightings are descent. The fluctuating weather from cold during the week to hot on the weekends i think is causing some silence.

I've probably seen more bucks than does. Overall, my sightings are probably down a little bit, but I'm not keeping records this year. My sighting really pick up the latter half of December. I've killed 2 bucks so now I am very very selective.

Ditto. Seeing plenty of deer just not the "right" one yet.

Down a bit compared to last year. Big ones are still showing on cams just not much in shooting hours. Did catch an 8 point before dark the other week.

Not as many as last year for me. Hopefully the rut kicks in soon and changes all of that mess..

Seeing more small bucks this year than I can remember in times past

They. Are eating me outta of house and home.
450pounds of corn 2boxes of apples and 50pounds
Deer candy. I have 200acres I am feeding them
Until the rut. I'm in a club near Maplesville our club
does not allow feeding. You can really tell the difference.
I believe that's we're all the deer are on clubs that alllow
Feeding as long as it's in a neatural spot everyone
Knows about. It sure helps keep the deer close by.

Seeing more b/c there aren’t any acorns where I hunt this yr. Past 2 seasons have been bumper acorn crops.

You're only as good as your worst shot-

Ever since Timber Two and the Giants in the Mountains of Pelham were investigated by the ALDEER PI's people are afraid to show ALL their kills. Except me. Cause I ain't killed nothing, well maybe a doe. But I killed her in the tropical portion of Mentone.

I havn't hunted near as much, but my sightings/sit ratio is way up. Although it's kind of irrelevant for me because I've never hunted the same property two years in a row rofl

I started good but quickly fell off. This afternoon was second time my dad has seen deer all year. It’s definitely been crazy so far

Up by a large margin. But this is also the first year I own my own land and lease some to the north of me. Last year was 90%pu lic and I'm about ruined.
