Omg I’d love to have one like it. I am a fan of the pump action rifles . I have a mint 760 carbine. I gave it to my dad to hunt with until he no longer wants or needs it.

That box magazine means you are not limited to round-nose bullets if you handload. Or just use Hornady Leverevolution. The extended range might factor in to your choice of sights/scopes.That's a very beautifully preserved example of factory craftsmanship from 1952. Congratulations on the find. I’ve loaded for most stuff and most other 35s for years. I’ve currently got a 357 maximum and a 358 Win....my 3rd. Just let a 336 ER in 356 go, also. No telling how many bullets I have in the shop.... from 200-225gr Accubonds, down to 150 core locks, to cast stuff, to pistol bullets. This gun is primarily for foot hunting and drives. I’ll either throw a 1-4 VX2 on it or just run irons. If it wasn’t a first year gun, I’d whack the barrel off at 18”, too. LOL
