I'm interested in buying an Ar10 308 that will not break the bank.Really wanting something I can hunt with also.I really can't afford a fortune, but I'm looking never the less.If anyone can recommend someone to build me one ,or if someone close to the Mobile area has one please let me know.and if someone not close to the Mobile area has one, and don't mind shipping I can do that also thanks in advance, and God bless , Happy hunting.

Check Palmetto State Armory. You can pick an upper and lower combo for around $600.

I did but I don't know how to work on them, don't know how to put it together,so really looking for a real good used one , something that hasn't been shot very much, but probably wishful thinking right

There are two pins that you put in to hold the upper and lower together

We will burn that bridge when we get there

Those combos usually still require a bolt carrier group and charging handle. That adds another couple hundred bucks to make it go bang. Some sights would be nice too.

If you can put together Lego blocks you can put together and upper and lower assembly. Like Bead said, it's just 2 pins.

Yep, there pretty easy to work on. The whole AR platform was designed for the basic military to be able to service in the field and trust me being a Marine myself there are a lot of guys that aren’t exactly rocket scientist working on them every day.

PSA products are great. I bought my dad two AR-15s, my cousin has one as well, and I have a PSA-AK47 - They are very hard to beat for the price.
