Mdees 8 point M Joined: Apr 2013 Posts: 2,035 Mobile, AL	On my 16” that I hunt with I use a Vortex PST 1-4. My 9” pistol has flip-up irons and a RMR. You won’t need much magnification since you will not be shooting at game much past 200 yards.

doekiller OP Freak of Nature Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 33,437 Your mom’s house	This one is a 16 inch gun. I really like the Vortex scopes. I just have to decide which one. I like the 1-x power scopes on ARs. That is what I have on my 5.56 and it is great for shooting and also for hog hunting.

gundoc 14 point Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 8,145 In front of my lathe	I have a Burris AR 332 on my 8.5 300 BO . It's really big for that gun and I would rather have something like a Vortex SPARC or RMR. Yours being a 16" build the AR 332 or a any of the Vortex Strike Eagle models would probably be good for it. I can make you a deal on the Burris There are two types of gun enthusiasts ... Handy when you get into a sounder of hogs. FYI, the ATN X-site models are not legal for hunting in the State of Alabama unless you have specifically been given permission under a depredation license.
