When I lived in Troy in the 90's I fished it a few times. Caught some bass and bluegill. There's some pretty nice bluegill in the lake.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Up where the cypress trees first start, we wore out the shellcracker and catfish in 3'-3.5' of water 2 days ago. Never got on a bed, just singles/doubles here and there, and lots of dink cat, but 8 or 10 in the 2+ lb range. If you go down to Dunn's Bridge, and fish up under the bridge (taking a break from the sun!), there are a ton of white catfish...they're an invasive, there, and are pretty firmly established from the bridge south. They look similar to a channel cat, bigger head, bigger mouth, VERY white belly, no spots, and don't get as big, but we managed a couple keepers there, too. Little or no bass activity around the trees (that area and north is called "The Duck Blinds").
Well behaved women never make history.~ Out back Quit laughing...I think I broke something.
Fifteen is my limit on Schnitzen-Gruben, Baby...
I have OCD and ADD, so everything has to be perfect, but only for a minute.
