Good luck finding something. The Auburn area was nearly a desert for both deer and turkeys when I was in school there in the 70s. I hunted a bunch of times and never heard a gobble. Never saw a buck, though I did see a few does. At least I caught some fish.
I had a friend who went to Livingstone those same years and he killed a bunch of deer over there. There is a lot more game in the Auburn area now, but getting permission to hunt it is the challenge. Good luck!
