So how are you preserving the meat in the wings? I remove the whole main wingbone and as much meat as possible, then use a taxidermy preservative (I think it’s primarily nothing more than borax) to preserve all of the remaining meat and skin...This powdered preservative will dry everything up within a couple of weeks’ time (unless it’s terribly humid)

How do you keep gravity from pulling the feathers down? As long as the feathers are attached to the skin, they will stay like you want them...I use 8 penny nails to tack the skin to the wall (2 nails through the base of the fan, then work your way down)
