FINALLYY....e mailed me back...i sent them an email about the second week of febuary and i called them about 20 times. They said they were sorry and that my email must have got lost in their spam folder...im sure it probly did i guess but dang youd think theyd have checked that. I told them turkey season is over for me no need to buy any now. I proceeded to tell them how crappy their service was. I have used their shells in the past. And they were awsome but dang...this aint the first time theyve screwd me..an i know theyve done it to a bunch of other folks too. Its aggravatin..

Plenty other options out there man.

I know, and i went another route...but its just the principal.

They respond fast when you send an email with blown apart shells attached due to them being way over pressure.

Who orders or try's to order shells for turkey season in February? I ordered twice from Nitro once in early Dec. once in Jan called and they answered in couple rings shells were in stock and had them in about a week. I have been shooting nothing but Nitro's for 12 years never had a reason to need customer support or had a problem with the shells or know anyone else that has.
I'm guessing all the complaints about Federal,Appex,and Nitro not having enough shells to sell are being made by the same people that will be cussing the local bowshop because they can't put a new string on there bow at 5 pm on the day before bow season opens lol

Well ain’t u Johnny On The Spot with your first DA post. February is when 90 percent of people start thinking about turkeys and most of us that constantly think about them are fine with that. Try to settle in before spewing off at the mouth and you’ll last a lot longer.

Don't see how the number of posts has anything to do with it. Hundreds if not thousands of people have been singing this same song for months and about half of them aren't satisfied until they post about it on every turkey hunting forum. I don't mess with Facebook but have been told it is worse.....just get tired of hearing the same crying.
Also see there's a lot of easily hurt feelings on this site lol. Don't have to worry about how long I last I'm already done if I want to hear people cry I'll go work at a daycare.

Maybe so, but so is the OP about nitro. I feel like an AMMO company should spend the summer getting ready for what’s to come. They should have AMMO a month before season comes in. I load my own so I don’t have to worry about it. These so-called ammo companies are losing money, and definitely losing customers by not answering their calls or emails. Especially when your shells are swelling so bad it takes a wooden dowel and a hammer to eject them and in some cases the the hull is coming apart. I’d probably shoot lead, high brass 6’s before I bought a shell from nitro again.

Dude.....i called and emailed them long before febuary, i rekin they just decided to respond to this one...they didnt do me right and the last time i checked this was a public forum and im entitled to my oppinion an i can post it so long as it doesnt break rules....im glad you posted yours..and im glad that youve had good luck with them...i aint...an im not happy about it but i never said id boycott them...heck i may need shells from them one day. I did, however, send them a response critiquing their buying system and tell them they needed to do some updating. I wudnt happy with their service...maybe it will be better now that told them about my experience. Also, i chose nitro over the others because of how much i liked their product. An won mo thing.. I have my strings built at least 3 months prior to allow for stretch and tune...now .....im goin back turkey huntn...have a nice day..and welcome to the forum.

I suppose i should learn how someday.....i know its not hard to do...in fact i bought all the stuff..then i sold it when they started makin it comercially...shouldnt have done that and i realize it now.

I've said the same about folks that put scopes and such on a shotgun.....

for the record I think Nitro does a piss poor job of communicating with customers, and loses business because of it. I have no idea why a company would want to act that way.

Also, I have shot Nitros for near 20 years in a couple of gauges and several guns with nary a hiccup of any kind ..if ya don't count that one bird I missed.
