Are there any companys in Alabama still making lowers? Or any lowers with Alabama connections? i've spent a couple of days searching and only came up three that may not be doing it any more. Any body have any info?

I’ve got a yellowhammer Arms our of Hoover upper and lower. Guy was in business when the AR boom was happening a year or so ago. Now that it’s kinda stalled he may be out of business. Did he make the upper and lower or just have another manufacturer put his name on them?

I assume he is like every other one and just puts the logo and name on it. The website is still up but a lot of stuff looks to be out of stock. That's what I was thinking too...I was just trying to think of any that were actually made in AL rather than outsourced, and I can think of any.

Doesn’t Remington make ARs in Huntsville? Not 100 percent sure, but don’t they make Bushmaster and maybe another brand there too?

It's been a few years back but there was a guy in the Birmingham area that actually machined his own lowers and sold them. Megacott on here bought a couple.
The true mark of a man is not how he conducts himself during times of prosperity, but how he conducts himself during times of adversity.

RMC Guns Stockton,Al...anybody know anything about them. Was told they made lowers. Can't find much online.
Just talked to them. Says they are made in Alabama and are in the process of setting up a web store.
