So I was driving down the road this morning, rain just a pouring down. There was a car up ahead of me that ended up being driven by some woman. She had her driver's window down with a yapping dog in her lap with its head hanging out the window. First, I'm thinking they are both getting soaked because I mean it was pouring down rain. Secondly, I bet the wet dog smell was overwhelming on both of them AND the car's interior. Lastly, we are driving 60+ miles per hour and here she is with this dog in her lap. What the hell is wrong with folks that feel the need to do this and put everyone around them at risk? One sudden move by that dog could easily cause her to crash into someone. That's no more of a distraction than someone texting and driving.

I agree. Dogs in laps are idiotic and dangerous. I don't care how docile the dog is, if it slips or gets hung in the steering wheel or bites out of reflex or gets hit by a bug, it could be bad.

Old people are the worst about that dog in the lap while driving chit but I do see alot of young people doing it as well. And people reading the paper, their phone, putting on makeup etc. Don't even get me started on those idiots. My only hope is they only kill themselves when not if they wreck.

You should see how people, especially University students, drive in Tuscaloosa. Phone in one hand, lipstick in the other while driving with their leg
Two roads diverged in the woods and I took the one with deep ruts, hills and mud.It may be bumpy but WHAT A RIDE!

If I'm getting a blowjob in the pilot seat, does that count as distracted driving?
