And yes, it is a bait privilege license. Not per feeder or anything but per individual

2nd year to Senate.
It was never voted on last year in senate due to the timing of the Bentley scandal.

Three pages deep into a thread about baiting and haven't seen the words "lazy" or "woodsmanship". Am I missing something?

I do not think the current age of QDM’ers know what it was like when NO Baiting was truly Enforced!

I have seen whole Clubs shut down over a baited spot in the woods on the Club!
Heck, there was NO hog trapping on a property during ANY hunting Season!!! and, no ‘special’ permits to allow it.
If a GW saw an empty corn bag on your truck, or by the road at your place, you could bet that they were gonna walk the property thoroughly.....and, there had better not be any feeders that even had a grain of corn stuck in them on the property!!!!

QDM, along with food plots and supplemental feediing paved the way to where we are today......for better or worse!
And, I bet they do not want to go back.

No point in it. It's a given that the masterbaiters are lazy and lack woodsmanship. grin

On second thought maybe some of them are pretty good with the wood.

Not this bill, it needs to say Baiting is legal or not legal that is all we need to know. No permits or this or that either it is or it is not

So if I have a lifetime hunting license and didn't buy some baiter permit and some asshat that hunts the same property that I do goes out on a Saturday morning and puts corn out in an area I'm hunting Sunday morning but I didn't walk the entire area in the dark with a flashlight and the GW comes in and gives me a ticket for not having a baiter license, am I supposed to be all happy??

Baiters, just need to bait, take your chances and stop playing like your not a baiter. Really simple.

I thought about that too. One person in a hunting club can cause everyone to pay or have an area all to himself. I can see a lot of hurt feelings over this crap. I'm with Ben. Either it is illegal or legal with no stipulations.
