LOL..you ever meet Matt? Son of a gun is a BIG man. Im sure all he had to do is stand up in front of the ole boy and tell him" set your arse right there...and dont freaking move" and he would have.
Now also holding a Mossy Defender? Im sure the ole boy stood put and got to meet the warden.
Good job Matt, I hope they throw the book at the poacher. Alexander Shunnarah and "the Hammer" Slocumb must be smiling if they're reading this thread. The state agent immunity of even a game warden is lost if there's a "mistaken interpretation of the law" involved when an arrest is made. Be careful and know for sure what you're doing when detaining people. You don't enjoy state agent immunity protection. I always figure that I am just as damn hard-headed as they are mean or tough. And, I ain't a little guy, either. So far, I have been right 100% of the time. And honestly, all but one were so embarrassed to get caught.......they did not argue or resist near as much as the Aldeer keyboard badazzes. And, for the record, he was held and prosecuted, too!

Then you're good ... so far. It was mistakes made in the heat of passion that put former game warden John Raley on the wrong side of the law in both criminal and civil actions. The administrators of the funds created to defend game wardens against the civil actions against them denied Raley's claims for his defense because it was determined he stepped outside the limits of his duties in the heat of passion. He didn't go to jail, but he was convicted of manslaughter and sued for civil damages. Things can take a turn for the worse in those situations, and big ol' boys and game wardens can be convicted and sued just like wimps if the right mistakes are made.

I ain't scared of you "little piggy" (Hogwild) For those on here that dont know Hogwild, you'd probably be wise to give him a wide berth. Any guy that grabs a couple dogs and a big azz knife and casually walks into the woods all by himself and comes back out dragging big dead boar hogs is someone you might want to think twice about. hahaha

I’m not knocking you, but if the neighbor is that big of a problem, I probably wouldn’t be deer hunting a 3 acre tract, unless you could guarantee the deer would drop right there. Which, no one can do. I wasn't really hunting deer. I only had a slug just in case a great opportunity presented itself. I only go to that property for squirrels. I just stumbled upon a buck back there. Ive never seen more than 3 deer a year back there and usually it's never one worth shooting

Carry some tissue and mark all the spots you walked and circle around until you can't find no where you didn't walk. Carry a saw and cut off the antlers. Show said pictures to us. If you can't find it watch for buzzards to start circling everyday then go back.
