I would personally rather see them eradicate yotes then pigs but would like the pig population kept in check.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

i dont mind the hogs. Personally, I prefer hog dog hunting over anything else. Walking them bulldogs into the woods to a bayed up boar hog, thats trying to kill everything around it. Not knowing if he's fixing to cut loose and run you down. Well, to say its a rush is an understatement.

wild hogs are a scourge brought in for sport hunting that got out of hand (russian hogs, not feral pigs...aka, didn't know the species they introduced and how prolific they are) and should be eradicated. ask any farmer or landowner that has been affected by them if they would rather keep them around for "fun" or take out the entire sounder in one fell swoop and I can almost guarantee their response. a hog here and there does nothing for control, you're just educating the rest of the sounder.
experience is a freakin' awesome teacher....

No need for the poison in my opinion, just allow hunting over bait for hogs out of deer season with no permit required. Yep

I agree about killing coyotes ,but you need predators to help keep things in check. Bobcat, foxes, hawks, owls, could get the job done.

I want both hogs and coyotes eradicated! A lot of people don't realize how many young deer the coyotes take in a year. When you have a 15' bat wing cutter drop off in a hog hole and the gear box splits wide open you will hate them too! Not to mention how many roads and food plots are torn up by them you have to repair during the summer. I should add, I enjoy hunting them. Probably more then deer. When you are the land owner you would rather have then dead.

I have hogs(lots of them) where I hunt. Ifeel like if we had less hogs, we may have more deer I’ll come kill everyone of those sorry suckers i see. I am honest, don’t steal, tight lipped, against the idea of me ever wanting to lease another acre of land for as long as i live, and even if i did want to steal your lease i couldn’t afford it. Pm me
Yeah c’mon. Daniel White

If you have hogs and coyotes on your property, the best means of control is hardcore year-round trapping and use of pens. Hunting both is a blast. Incredibly fun. Stalking, with dogs, whatever. Great fun. But trapping is greatly effective. Learn to trap or find a trapper though the Alabama Trappers & Predator Control Association -- http://www.atpca.org/ -- and work with them on your goals. Yotes obviously can affect deer and turkeys, but hogs are opportunists and can impact deer, too. I believe in another thread here in the Trapping & Varmints forum, Goatkiller said he'd trapped 18 coyotes so far after figuring he might get a few. Trapping yotes and hogs will help deer, turkeys and other wildlife, not to mention helping keep your tractors and gear from falling into a giant hog rut in a field.

If you have hogs and coyotes on your property, the best means of control is hardcore year-round trapping and use of pens. This. After landowner started paying a trapper to get rid of the pigs 2 years ago, there has been a remarkable reduction in the population. Don't get very many pics of them any more while running the deer cams and only saw 1 group of pigs all deer season while hunting. Damage has been noticeably reduced. They trap all year long and run them with dogs about 2 times a month during the non-hunting season. Never going to get rid of them completely, but I would say they are well managed.
