I�m having a nightmare of a time zeroing in my wife�s Bar. Any recommendations on bullets? It�s a new rifle with a new Zeus�s scope. I tried 180 Fusions and it looks like buckshot. I�ve pulled it all the way down and floated the scope mounts and remounted the scope. I�m gonna give it a try tomorrow or Tuesday and see if that helped. I�m thinking it�s either the scope or the bullets.

Honestly, I have never had good luck with fusions out of anything other than my AR. I know others have so YMMV.

As for the bullet weight and that BAR, I'd try something in the 150 - 168 grain range. I have had good luck out of the Hornady American Whitetail 150gr and Hornady Custom in 165 gr. The barrel on the BAR may not have a fast enough twist to effectively spin a 180gr bullet. I don't know right off since I have never checked one and don't have the specs readily available, but that would be my guess if it's shooting that bad. Of course that assuming there are no physical/mechanical problems with the gun.

Put another scope on it and try.

Quick search shows a 1:12 twist. It won't shoot heavies.

1-12" twist on my 308 and it patterns 180s. Try 150s.

Mine is an older BAR but it likes Federal Fusion 150's and Core Lokt 150's

My Bar in .308 likes Hornady custom 165grn bullets.

If you get tired of messing with it, just so happens I been looking for a used bar 308. But if not imo I would try lighter weight bullet
