I have a diawa 7,6 that I got on sale for 59 that is light, strong, and very sensitive. I use it for punching. Most of there stuff is decent and not super heavy. I do a lot more flipping than punching. I used to have a shimano 7,11(the green ones) I found on close out a few years ago that was the best flipping rod Ive used ever. I think I got it for close to 100. If you can find one of those and like longer rods that would be my choice. I since replaced that rod with a St. Croix for flipping.

i got a diawa 7'2 from simmons for 70 bucks last year and have zero complaints. Also have a telescopic bps 7'6 that does fine but its a broom stick!
Georgia Football..Acts like Bama but has a trophy case like South Carolina.

I would put a few more dollars with it and get a hammer. Best rod out right now. I do like em but aint got $180 right now.
