Folks say their man does them for say 300 and is good as there is, they don't know what real taxidermy work looks like. "Why do you ask"? Always vote the slowest path to socialism.

abolt300 Booner A Joined: Nov 2011 Posts: 10,517	Got an award winning guy in Mobile that will still do mine for $375 but I've been going to him for over 20 years and he no longer does it full time/commercially. He only mounts 25-30 a year out of his shop just to pay his hunting dues and give him some recreational money. You get what you pay for in taxidermy and there is a big difference between a guy cranking out 500 mounts a year at $325 versus a guy that takes his time and does it right. Good ones are gonna be in that $500 range and well worth the price difference.
