Bought a used stainless MK V on a whim a couple months ago. Bought some Wetherby ammo and it was printing cloverleaf groups with 150 and 220 grain bullets. LOVE it.

If it had a nice wood stock money wouldnt part me from it. Ballistics are incredible with this round and I found ammo cheap online. Buds Gun Shop had several to choose from.

Got a powerline on our club I'm going to try it out on. Maybe tomorrow. Good luck with your search. That's a smoking deal on the Vanguard. It's not a popular round but I wanted to try it.

My hunting buddy has one that he has had for 20 years or better and absolutely loves it. I have a Weatherby 25-06 and a Ruger American 6.5 Creedmoor, both of which are tack drivers. I just want a .30 caliber rifle for those special occasions.
