I was reading thru the map again today and I didn't notice this a few days ago.
Accordingly, Zone A does NOT have antler restrictions. So of course you follow the state rules of 1 of your 3 bucks must have 4 pts on 1 side.

For anyone familiar with the Hollins (I've never been there), is one to assume (yes I hate assuming) one of these possibilities?

1. There are a lot of deer (or even lower class bucks) in Zone A or
2. They are just not concerned about managing Zone A like they are Zone B?

I rarely even see bucks when I hunt and I am not one to shoot as many deer as I can either. I just like hunting, venison and of course always the possibility of seeing a good buck.

Thoughts?

I hunted in zone A Saturday morning, saw a smallish 6pt and another unidentified deer running like it's hair was on fire. My opinion is that A has more deer, but I don't really know why only B side has restrictions. Isn't Choccolocco the same way?

We were on the edge of Eternia, when the power of Greyskull began to take hold.

Zones are managed to give different opportunities, one zone managed for a better chance at a mature deer. Other zone managed for the hunter that does not want to be restricted more than regular state rules.

Dont listen to Ikillbux.. hes a loone! There are no bucks in zone B.. Zone A has a few but good luck getting them to come out till nearly February. Zone B use to have some of the best hunting around. Ive spent 20+ years on Rebecca mountain. Since theyve closed the road on top and made it a hiking trail Ive just lost interest. Ive not seen any mature deer since. Good one was killed off Fox road last year but just hear say. To me Hollins is dead.
