I was just wondering if anyone has seen a updated Alabama deer density map broken up by county. I have searched for one a little and can't find anything within 10 years. Any info will be GREATLY appreciated.

Gotta be one somewhere. No way Chuck and Co. would make important changes to our seasons like extending season into February statewide and numerous doe season changes based on things like political pressure and back room deals.

I understand that it can't be completely accurate, but I figured there would at least be an estimate of the deer herd density floating around somewhere...I have seen older maps.

Any such map would just be an extreme generality. Deer densities vary across individual counties from property to property. I've been on land in Bullock Co that had deer as thick as fleas and other properties in the same county that were just average. Same thing with Macon Co. It all depends on habitat management and trigger finger restraint.

Dang, 2dogs still going full tinfoil hat about this subject Tin foil must mean conformation then , a CAB member who is NOT a high fence owner told me that's how it happened. Back room deal to get game check. Hell, Chuck himself said in his dog and pony tour promoting it last year he had to make a deal, he didn't elaborate. Perhaps you like high fence owners make our regs and seasons , I don't.
