I saw this on Amazon last night when ordering Thermacell refills. It says they will mask human odor and it good for hunting. Has anyone used these?

I picked up some as I needed some refills. Haven't tried it yet.

I'm sure I've had a deer or two blow at me while using the regular mats and it could have been for a number of reasons other than the thermacell but I can't really recall a time. I tried the earth scented mats a couple of years ago about 3 different times and every time I got blown out of the woods by deer. Could have just been because I stink but the earth scented mats were the common denominator all 3 times.

Google how a deer smells. I read they can smell 7 different scents at one time. They can smell the scent blocker, sweat, breath, and whatever all seperately. Co worker told me so i looked it up and found it. I quit using the scent sprays and cant tell any difference. All the scent sprays i have seen have a smell to them. If i can smell it then im sure the deer can. I think it adds scent making the situation worse. I use pine needles and cedar. But sorry to ramble on your post. You should google the deers scent about 7 different smells. Its interesting

I tried some around the house last summer and they are different.
I had one running Saturday and had does 40 yards downwind of
me that did not smell it ,,but I was pretty high up in the tree.

Yes. Walmart carries. Smells like earth scent cover scent spray or a wafer

Earth scent is gold wrapper

Regular is silver

I use gold for deer and silver for turkey. Have for years

Never had a deer seem to worry about it.

Who really cares about masking human scent? Thermacell is to keep skeeters off me! They work and that's all that matters. I've had does under me and they couldn't smell the regular pads.
