I was on a lease last year and was expecting to be on it this year, but apparently my spot was given away...

so I guess I'm looking for a club or lease or whatever you want to call it.

It's a long shot, because it's so close to season and I can't really afford most clubs, but if any of you know of anywhere around Birmingham or even Huntsville, let me know.

Price range?

1k would definitely be towards the top. I'll have to do some liquidating of some other toys to pay for it, but I would like to have a place to hunt like that. May just end up hunting public land for a year and finding somewhere next year, but figure I'd look around first.


And yeah it was pretty unexpected. I went to Huntsville today (I'm off on Mondays) to take him the dues and hang some cameras. Had cash in hand and found out I didn't have a spot anymore!

Jono, if you end up hunting strictly public land this year, pm me your number if you have an iPhone and I'll send you some pins of spots where I scouted and found good deer sign or hunted and saw deer at Cahaba.

There are plenty of cheap clubs in Shelby and Bibb county, but most aren't worth a crap. Check out valley creek and see if they have any small leases in Jefferson available.
