Heh heh heh. Cold front coming going to push them into FL.
I saw good numbers of birds in FL last weekend. Best 2-3 hunts I've had were leading into weekends like this. Mid 70s with drizzling rain. I think our biggest factor of having or not having birds over the yrs have been fresher fields getting picked the day or two before opener. I do know weather will cause em to move in or out tho. I've seen a lot of birds flying around Madison co today. Got my trigger finger itching

Heading out to Tennessee on Saturday. Good buddy's farm in West TN hammered them all weekend. They have been holding good bird numbers for weeks.

I saw good numbers of birds in FL last weekend. They won't stay there long if Irma keeps her track they are predicting.

The birds in tn were flying ok Saturday, got 13 on the first hunt. The rain we had messed up the millet but it was still fun!

I hope some birds move in with this weather. I've got everything a Dove could possibly want here and no birds.
I wasn't planning to shoot until the second weekend so maybe I'll get a few between now and then.

I'm on my way. How's everyone looking? I had a few his morning but this afternoon should tell the story. Really hope I don't lose em. Same as you. Was dead as a hammer until about 7:15 and then things picked up. I had to leave at 7:30 but they were still trickling in.
Ya'll are just overthinking it now

You would sure think so, now how quick they find the right fields is the kicker. I can't say for sure that cold affects them but cool snaps like this one have turned out bad for me more often than not in the past. If cold really affects them this time of year (I've heard differing opinions) then theoretically that would mean new ones are coming in to replace the old ones
