My family and I ask your help preventing the parole of Eugene Brown from the Alabama Department of Corrections.

Eugene Brown murdered my father on 02 November 1987. A jury unanimously convicted him of premeditated murder. The Judge sentenced Eugene Brown to Life in prison, which was the maximum punishment for premeditated murder according to Alabama law.

My family and I intend to do everything within our power to prevent Eugene Brown’s release from prison. On 9 August 2017, we must protest the parole of Eugene Brown with the Members of the Alabama Board of Pardons and Paroles.

Please help our effort by sending a parole protest email to Debra Bonds, who represents Victims of Violent Crime in Alabama. Her email address is debra.bonds@paroles.alabama.gov

Alabama Board of Pardons and Paroles,

I am writing to protest the parole of Alabama inmate, Eugene Brown (AIS 152929). Mr. Brown committed an evil murder of an innocent man, James William Holder. In accordance with the maximum punishment allowed in Alabama, a Judge ordered Brown to serve a Life prison sentence. Eugene Brown should serve his entire sentence, which is life in prison. Additionally, the Board should avoid future consideration of parole in accordance with Alabama laws.

Thanks to everyone for helping.

So thats been thirty years since he has been locked up. Wow that alone cost us a lot of tax money. Now august 9th its gonna cost more and more. Plus the victims family has to be bothered again....dont this seem crazy? Just kill the guy like he killed this mans dad. A lot of crime would stop.

Liberal views and people trying to cut prison costs push parole boards to make horrible decisions. I say cut costs by taking away computers, tablets, smart phones, TV's inside cells, etc. Next make the prisoners work to pay for their meals, clothes, etc.

Thank you all for the prayers and email support in our fight to keep my father's murder in prison. Today, the Alabama Parole Board denied parole and extended the next possible hearing to five (5) years, which is the longest period allowable by law.

I asked the Parole Board's Victim representative if she had many protest letters and petitions. She said we created a small phone book.

Will definitely send an email for you. Victims of Violent crimes tool very good care of me when I was beaten with a shotgun and had my face crushed a few years back. They made sure everything I lost was taken care of and all my doctor bills were paid even my deductible where I wrecked my car trying to get away from the guy. Great program
