I'm about to start a build on a stock 2001 SR5 4Runner with 220k on it. I need some ideas on neoprene seat covers, step rails and roof rack.

What type of a build are you planning?

I'm planning to add BFG ATs on factory wheels, possibly a lift/level - 1.5", Weathertech mats, complete tune-up, brakes front and rear, front bumper with winch, seat covers, step rails and roof racks. It's in very good condition to have 220k on it. A retired military guy had it and it was garage kept. Just curious if anyone might have any ideas on the best products for the money.

Step rails will get you hi-centered and hang you up. I would love to get an arb winch bumper for my yota but they are $$$. Look at trailgear.com and see what they have... alot of stuff is for Tacoma but the mounting points for bumpers and such should be the same

You can get a 3" lift from Rough Country cheaper than a 1.5" level lift. At least it'll be cheaper to go that route for my '15 4Runner.

1st gen tacoma and 3rd gen 4runner bumper will go one with a little modification. It will not bolt on.

I'd ditch the step rail idea and go with sliders which will offer protection tonthe doors amd rockers where a step rail will not. There's a bunch of companies that make bumpers similar to ARB style thats a little cheaper. As far a roof rack goes whitson metal works for the roof rack or baja rack. I wouldmt give gobi rack any buisness look up gobi vs. Whitson case.

Winch bumper, good light bar, rear facing led light, tow points, AT tires will make a niccce deer truck or trial rig. Nice trucks for sure 1

Post up before and after pics when you get that far.
