was there last week...
deally plaza was really neat...just do a self guided tour and save the $25 on the museum which wasn't worth imo.
walk the 'arts district'...lots of parks, sculptures, etc.
take in a rangers game in Arlington if they're at home.

Yes on Dealey Plaza. Go to the stockyards in Fort Worth. George Bush library on SMU campus. Dallas Aquarium is good. Twisted Root for a burger in Dallas. And you cant miss Rise no. 1 for the best dessert you will ever put in your mouth.

By the way, your GPS needs to be updated. They are constantly building new freeways and roads. The recession didn't even touch Texas.

Pappas, YO, and Del Friscos are all some of the best steakhouses anywhere
Not Dallas, but the whole Ft worth stockyards thing is fun if you've never done it. Billy Bobs always has good music, white elephant across street.
Great part of the world
Edit:
Looked up billy bobs schedule, Clint black next Saturday night then jerry Jeff walker the next night, pretty good 2 nights

What part of DFW you hangin' out? Mostly Highland Park. My inlaws used to live in Richardson and then they moved to Grapevine which was really cool back in the late 90's.

As other's have said, the Stockyards used to be a good place to visit. I've only been on the weekends so I don't know what it's like during the week.

We'll be in Arlington for the second night of a three night stay. Don't have reservations yet for night 1 or 3, so we can be mobile. Stockyards Hotel then, easy decision

SaltGrass Steakhouse is one of the better chain steakhouses out there - I highly recommend it. If you go, be sure to order the range rattlers! Dang good food! http://m.saltgrass.com/#2894
