I could shoot targets with my Beretta 96G 40 slightly better than I can shoot targets with my Glock, but the Beretta is an anchor under times movement/shooting.

This is right on the money Fred! thumbup It's funny that my old agency also switched from Beretta 96G to Glock 37. They should have gone 21 or 22 but it was one of those agency deal things with Glock. Guess Glock had inventory to move in .45GAP. Though I do like my 38 as a carry gun. I started shooting perfect qualifications with Glock and my instinctive shooting improved. Moving and shooting too like you said. We had stress fire situations with simunitions and always did well with Glock. Beretta was always too heavy so my BUG was always a Glock 30 when I carried Beretta. I've always liked the trigger reset function on a Glock. Tightest groups I've ever shot. Love my Glocks.

Model 23 was the first pistol I ever bought myself and I've seen no reason to change since I bought it. I can shoot it reasonably well and never had any issues with it.

We went from a Sig P220 to the Glock 35, the Deputies anyway, the Detectives were issued the Glock 23. I carried it for 14 years then we went to the Glock 41 Gen 4 last year. It has taken some getting used to for me. I purchased the 23 that I carried to use as my back up and off duty. I sometimes carry my Sig P245 that I've had since forever, as off duty as well. I really like that 23 though

A Glock will always be one of the most reliable weapons you can carry but so are most of the other polymer frame pistols from major manufactures like Springfield, Beretta ,Sig and CZ. Even the lesser known ones like EAA and the Walther PPK are as reliable as any Glock. Find one that fits you and always carry.

Maybe hang it on a limb and paint it red. Shoot it with my 308, for short range practice. Yeah I like that idea.

Same here...bought my G23 a few days after my 21st birthday. Other than firing my dad's 38spcl a handful of times, it was really my first experience with a centerfire pistol. I'm comfortable with it, I can hit what I'm aiming at consistently and I trust it. In nearly 11yrs of owning it and countless rounds, I've never had a single FTF or FTE. WHat more can you ask for?

I was at the Gadsden PD range one day to teach some firearms training. Glock rep drove up dragging two Glock 9mms on the road, tied to back bumper. He picked em up, walked to the firing line a emptied both of them. they were already chambered loaded and ready.

I have a Glock 22 found on the bottom of Eastlake parks lake. Springs were only bad part, they disintergrated when touched. Outside was encrusted badly, it had been in the lake a while. New springs and a magazine and it shot perfectly. I suspect not many guns would of done that.

There isn't a single manufacturer out there that hasn't had a recall at some time and some capacity.

Insert your favorite brand and they've a recall or TSB.

I've had a 17, 19, 22, 23, 26, and 27. The 17 was my first one, and I still have it. No telling how many thousands of rounds through it, never a fire stoppage and still going strong.

17,23 and a 26.That Glock 17 is bone stock is the most accurate pistol I have ever owned.

I love them all dont get me wrong but glocks are kinda like the AK of pistols you can modify them a million different ways and they just work.
