Can you lower the license cost for us out of staters? No, we're closing the border and building a fence. It's gonna be huuuuge. And Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia and Florida are going to pay for it. Seriously, on out-of-state licenses, am I the only one who believes it should be reciprocal. If it costs an Alabama person $700 to hunt a deer in Montana, it should cost a Montana guy $700 to hunt in Alabama for the example. It's all based on what the other state charges. What happens when 2 states both have reciprocal policies? Should the state with the worst hunting lower their prices to more cheaply hunt the better state??? Haha

One school system per county
Who's in? Me for certain. This is something I believe VERY strongly in. All schools in Alabama should be pulling from the same funding pot and should be equal. If you want to build a private school with private funding I don't care if you build Harvard University, but if it's PUBLIC it should be EQUAL. Don't see dirt roads, 3 days a week mail, limited police and fire service or other substandard public utility and municipal services doled out to poor areas because they're poor do you? Schools should be no exception. The example of Jefferson county, with the inner city schools and the "over the mountain" schools is a travesty. Yes, I understand that if you put Mountain Brook in the hands of the jackasses who run Berry, or many other low income area public a hooks they'd screw it up. Run schools from a state wide, equally funded, system. We're all entitled to the same road system, legal system, mail, water, power, etc. this should be no different.

Robert D. respectfully, I could not disagree more with your statement. Those of us in those "over the mountain" schools pay more in property tax so that our kids will have better schools. We don't pull anymore out of county funds then the other schools.
Running schools from a state wide, equally funded, system, yeah, that will work. The state has done such a good job of running other systems.
Leave it in the hands of the locals who know the needs of their community. Honestly, someone living in Mobile, Dothan, Jasper, Pell City, or where ever shouldn't have a say in what our local schools do. Just as we shouldn't have a say in what their schools do.

I live in an area with great schools, low crime rate, and high quality of living. We pay for that.

Go for it FurFlyin. Heck, you or almost anyone else couldn't do much worse. I almost believe a Chimpanzee holding a Magic 8 Ball couldn't do worse. Politics in Alabama is a joke. And it's just a small piece of a much larger political joke system, the US of A. That said, we the people have allowed it to happen. It's bad when all we have to vote for is the "lesser of the evils".
Mr. Burke was correct when he said, "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing".

Do it Fur. We need people in office with a strong conviction to serve the PEOPLE not the other way around. I would think that if a person went into a public office selfless and with no preconceived political agendas, every day would be a humbling experience because of the complexity of the job when it is done RIGHT.

If Seigleman and Bentley are two of the best this state has to offer, I figure I'll be a giant leap forward.
You nailed it right there. Thing is, men with a hint of integrity want nothing to do with Alabama politics. So we end up with tail chasing, money grabbing, liars and thieves. They're the only kind who actually want to associate with the other criminals in the legislature.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

You better have a good hiding spot in Marshall Co if you are going after the AEA... ...but if you are, let me know if you need extra bullets. I'll help you dig trenches

I voted for skinny but have been disappointed in his lack of effort to fulfill his campaign promises. Don't forget his hate for stickers and turtles.

I'm gonna crush you. Pull out now. I ain't withdrawin without a fight! Let's don't do a debate like politicians do, let's just settle this in a good ol fashioned WWF style wrasslin match. I'll check on the availability of the VFW hall. Have your peoples call my peoples.
