Where's the best place to get a turkey mounted. Also what's the going rate?

Rhett Kelly at Kelly Taxidermy in Titus does excellent work. I don't know what he charges.

Going rate is irrelevant to the best. Going rate might be $400, but in taxidermy you often get what you pay for.

Toby Lightsey in Centerville does a great job on turkeys. Was $800 last I checked.

Hazel Creek

If this is a special bird there is no one better. I know that the mounts at the national NWTF banquet in Nashville were done by these guys. My dad's Merriam was done by them. Pay for what you get.

Edward Smith in Moulton is $375 for any pose you want. He done a good job 10 years ago on my buddies. I'm about to find out how good he really is

He's mounted 4 full body gobblers, numerous ducks, several fish, and a 10 point for me. He is excellent.

Rhett does awesome work. The last Rio he did was around $645. You don't want to cheap out when it comes to feather placement.

I'll second blacking taxidermy. He has won a ton of contests as well. Imo his work is better than hazel creek. Not to mention awesome guy to deal with as well.
