A good buddy of mine took me and my son wyatt up to his Kentucky lease for the youth season. Boys it absolutely happened like it's supposed to. We probably had close to 20 different birds gobbling on the roost that morning. Bout 8 o'clock that morning they had been tight lipped for bout 30 min then one hammered right behind our blind. My son had been taking a little nap and I woke him so. You could feel that bird drumming. He came out strutting and pissed off at our decoys. He got to about 40 yards and stuck that ol head up and Wyatt absolutely smoked him. The bird dropped like a rock. Wyatt is only 4 years old. He shot the bird with a youth 20 gauge single shot and used a Caldwell tripod. We stepped it off and he smoked the bird at 37 yards. 1 of my proudest moments and a hunt I will never forget. Thanks to my buddy Joe for making it all happen. And thank god for blessing me with a great family.

That's awesome man! Pics and story are excellent. Hope to get mine one before season is over, he is wearing me out.

Man thanks so much guys it truly was a special hunt! Yeah ol Joe is one of a kind man. That gun Wyatt is holding has killed many of first birds. Someone must be cutting onions in here my boy is growing up way to fast.
