I don't own one but been looking at patterns online and that IC .555 is a mean choke in a variety of guns. I'll probably own one of those eventually.

Some people have been able to help even out their pattern by polishing their barrel. I haven't tried it myself, but a lot of people think it really helps.

Did not perform well out of my 21" 870. I might be selling it soon.

I have read that as well, but I have also read where polishing has made patterns worse. I have deep cleaned it...but I am leary of polishing.

Also, I think the barrel on my 870 is a bit tight. It is all I can do to get a bore snake through the barrel. In fact I pulled the cord out of one bore snake, and I have to wrap the cord around something to use as a handle to pull it through. Yes...I did remove the turkey choke. I dont like doing it, but I usually try to snake it without a choke.

I polished mine, she throws a great pattern with 9s and a IC .570
