Taxidermist in the country will tell you the same.
As far as price and quality, Jay Huey in Mississippi does great work but you'll have to ship your birds. (That's not a problem at all)
Local to us is Steven Cavendar in Heflin. He does all my big game mounts and he's done a few ducks for me. Ducks aren't his specialty but he does a good job.
I let Blake Wilson do a few birds I shot in Alaska.......he won't ever get anymore work from me.
