Are deer and turkeys territorial with each other? I don't think so at all. My best turkey hunting land is also my best deer hunting land. I've seen deer and turkeys on fields together.

I don't think it was "territory" more than whatever the patch of green was it must have been tastey because the doe and yearling stuck around until the turkeys left and went straight back.... wish i would have been smart enough to find out what was growing there.

They will fight and spar (horn to horns, or use their hooves for does and bucks in velvet) over food sources. Its usually about the food or does to breed; not the real estate. I haven't read anything on turkeys being territorial, but they sure will light one up over food or hens during breeding. Last edited by coach41; 01/14/17 02:58 PM.
