I just can't seem to get motivated as it is and 70 damn degrees in January doesn't help. Crappie fishing sounds much better. Yeah when I was young I would hunt no matter the weather but looking back over forty years of hunting I know what generally works and what doesn't. If I was hunting any area that had a good population and the chase was on I would hunt early morning and late evening. With temperatures close to 80 all if not most chasing will take place at night or just after daylight or late evening, but since the chase is not on yet here and the deer population sucks I am heading to the gym lol.
