Definitely had corn in stomach. Don't know if that was corn or acorns, but we haven't put any out.
Every deer we've killed has had corn in them though. Tuscaloosa county and Cullman county.
This deer had apparently swam/crossed the mulberry river very recently that morning.
His belly was soaking wet and it was very close to the river.

Good deer. I see he has his pencil in his bibs for recording the kill.

Lack of width will ding it a little but with those tines and main beams, that'll score pretty well. Congrats!

Tough to tell about age, pictures need to be taken from directly above looking down on top of teeth instead of at an angle.
Nice buck.

Jawbone says he's 3 1/2, but I bet he's 4. Deers solid throughout... I'd say he's low to mid 140s. Great deer. Congrats!

So he was born in January, not June-August like 99.9% of the rest of alabama deer?

4.5 on age. As far as score, I can't judge them very good
