Just wondering how many musicians we have on here.
What instrument(s) do you play?
What's your favorite (brand, model, etc.)?

I primarily play guitar, but have dabbled in Bass, mandolin, and Drums.
Just got a new Gibson LP Standard T, and I am a bit obsessed with it.
Taylor is my acoustic choice.

What say ye?

Retired drummer. Played a good looking set of Pearl's for over 25 years. Liver barely still intact.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

I play drums. My all time favorite was a custom Gretsch set I played on.

I don't consider myself a musician, but I play guitar and have written a few pretty good songs. I enjoy playing and singing and writing stuff.

I like Ovation guitars.

I play guitar. I'm no lead man and can't shred one down, but can play along pretty decent. I've dabbled on my buddies drums a time or two and can do the basic boom tap.

I've got a nice Takamine that I bought about 5 or 6 years ago, It's the only guitar I play. I wouldn't mind having a Taylor or Martin but never could justify spending the money.

I enjoy playing on the porch, Yamaha acoustic. Would like to have a Taylor 12 string. I found one used in Ridgeland Ms. and almost pulled the trigger on it.

Guitar, Mandolin, Bass, Banjo, mostly Dobro. I have Dupuytrens (sp) disease in my hands, so Dobro is easier. IT is a beautiful sounding instrument.

I've played guitar since I was 10. Not a world killer, but pretty good. I'm a Fender guy, primarily Telecasters. One of these days I'd like to get a nice old Martin. Friend bought a 1953 D-28 from a guy in a pinch for$6k. Most amazing sounding guitar I have picked up. Ended up selling it for about $10,000 a few years ago. Another friend has a 1938 Gibson J-35 that was his grandfather's. He and his brother played it in bars around the Tuscaloosa area in the late 30s. It's equally amazing sounding but in a different way than the Martin. Played mandolin for a while but haven't picked one up in years.

I pick on an acoustic regularly. The one I play most at the moment is an Alvarez. I used to mess around on the drums some. I want to try my hand at the fiddle and harmonica next.

I play guitar. I am mostly a Gibson guy. Acoustic or electric. I sold them for years to make a living as well... up until earlier this year.

I played drums a little bit but never went anywhere with it but enjoyed it.

Runningdeer is probably the best piano player and singer I've heard. He could honestly do whatever he wanted with music but chooses not to. Somebody drag him into this conversation. I will probably get a polite text over this post. wink

I play guitar. Jammed with some guys while in college but had to sell off my electric, amp, and pedals when I moved up here (hard to practice in an apartment). Still have an acoustic which I play on the regular. Ibanez is what my acoustic is. Would kill for a Parker electric with my old amp and pedals but would likely get evicted if I had that setup..

I play with the guitar. Was lead singer in bands for years and finally gave it up. I have a Big Baby Taylor that is just awesome, I love to play. I have a G&L ASAT electric and a 50's model 12 string Fender electric that I never touch.

I would recommend the BBT to anyone. I tried Marins and some others and it just sounds amazing. It is also a smaller guitar and easy to play.
