When is rut in Oneonta

U ought to be seeing some scrapes and rubs now

Late January-first week of February where I hunt in Blount Co.

Rubs showing up at my dads place on pine mt for a few weeks.. Had a scrape show up in the green field end of last week

Been seeing scrapes for a month now. Don't mean much. Bucks have been checking does. Getting pics of bucks cruising through behind does about every night. Haven't heard of any legitimate buck chasing doe sightings yet. I ask around on a regular basis.

Didn't see the rut at my place until beginning of February last year. Already seeing fresh rubs and one scrape yesterday.

Scrapes are showing up all around where I hunt in Nectar. I saw a decent 8 Thursday and a spike and another deer I couldn't tell what he was yesterday. They are really starting to move right now. Was going this morning but they cancelled schools for this "snow" we are suppose to be getting. I shot a dandy 7pt on this property on Jan. 15 a couple of years ago chasing does hard. Now is the time in that area.

Just killed a big 9pt I've been hunting a long time right above nectar. He was checking some does. Don't think he was chasing, just checking. Neck swole up pretty good.

Congrats man. You hunt off of Joy Road right? I think I talked to you last season. I hunt at the crossroads where you turn to go to the covered bridge.

I'd like to find somewhere to hunt in Blount. I just moved here and don't know much about the area.

rubs have begun appearing on my son's place. no scrapes yet ...

Does only no horns.

Still havnt heard about anyone around here seeing a big buck chasing a doe. Odd year for sure.

Just north of nectar about a mile or two, off joy rd.
