Has anybody hunted the Grand Bay WMA in south Mobile County? I'm thinking about checking it out. I've heard there's a good bit of hogs and some deer.

Never been, but from what I have heard and read, I believe that are MANY better options within the same driving distance from you.

Upper Delta, lower Delta, etc

Waste o time

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

Man, a preacher would lie to you about a good hunting spot. You won't know the truth until you go see for yourself. Nobody is going to come out and say, "heck yeah man, place is loaded! We come home with deer and hogs every trip!" ESPECIALLY for a guy who's first post is asking about public land. Just the way it is. Go wear out some boots. It being a large block of timber in the state of Alabama, I guarantee you there is something there to kill. May be tough to find, but there is something there.
