The elusive Gobbler told me about it in the Dark Ages.

I think Brent told about it in 1998.

I don't recall how he found it.

Googled "Skinny, elf, goober perchjecker" and this site came up. Don't even remember what I was looking for.
Was actually looking for a hunting club online and found it.

Man, I can't remember that far back, but I lurked a LONG time before I ever joined in 2004.

One of my earliest memories of a thread on here that stood out was a Free-For-All verbal posting shootout that lasted for 2 or 3 days when Skinny or whoever was running Aldeer then just said, "have at it and get it out of your system". There were some brutal verbal attacks on that thread before it got locked down. It seems like it was around the Holiday season or something.

Anybody else remember what I'm talking about?

Back before it was a forum and was just a bulletin board, I signed up to call a guy about a shotgun for sale on the old classifieds.

Did a search for deer hunting Alabama back in 1998. Found Aldeer when it was a bulletin board and joined in 2000. Damn I guess I'm responsible for Rebelman. I met him while he was a student at Auburn and told him about this madness.

Seemed like I saw it mentioned in the Montgomery paper while reading a hunting article. I joined same day I found it back in early 2000's. They used to put your member # by your name and I was number 120something and originally went by "Dr. B"

I remember Packrat (RIP) and used his famous "Ratscent" several times. It worked as a pretty good attractant. Brody Joe was always a good guy to have around.

Been on here more days than not since then.

Dr. B

First off I was told I had to be loco to sign up but if I did,, it was the bestest hunting forum with some top notch members to join up with and that the fishing wasn't too bad neither ,,,, and oh,,, iffin your were born in Alabama you were automatically memberized into the , if it has feathers ,fur or scales you killed or caught and cleaned and ate it club ,,, that includes but is not limited to road kill sick thumbup
